Dr. Tamer Balci "The Origins of Iraq War": I will cover the background of war up to the US invasion. Dr. Sonia Alianak: "Politics of Iraq War and Policy Implications": Dr. Alianak will cover the current politics of war and policy changes and suggestions. Dr. Aziza Zemrani: "Iraq War in the Eyes of the Middle East People": Dr. Zemrani will cover how the Middle East people view the war in Iraq. |
| 05:00 - 07:00 p.m. | FESTIBA Opening Reception for "Lost Cultures: The Aztecs," Visitors Center Join us as we celebrate the opening of this outstanding and important exhibition. In 2004, following nearly five years of research in and around Mexico City and Oaxaca, the first important collaborative work between WesleyImages and the descendents of the ancient Aztecs and the indigenous people from the State of Oaxaca was unveiled in Los Angeles, CA and Kansas City, MO. The exhibit, which combined Wesley Billingslea’s striking black and white photographs with text supplied by today’s modern-day Aztecs and indigenous people from Oaxaca, debuted to large, inquisitive crowds and rave reviews from the press. |
